This sprawling LDS temple complex encompasses an expansive 9.1 acres of land. Exterior finishing elements boast a robust precast concrete design enhanced by textured quartz rock surfaces. Its architecture boasts a contemporary twist on the classic, boasting a distinctive single-spired façade. In addition to its elegant structure, the facility offers a total of five separate rooms: two are reserved for ordinance procedures, while three have been allocated specifically for sealing ceremonies. Key events marking this magnificent edifice's journey into existence include: A pivotal ground-breaking and site dedication ceremony took place on April 15th, 2006 at the hands of prominent Church leader Neil L. Andersen. Approximately a couple years after the initial groundbreaking event, an open house was hosted to give community members an opportunity to explore the newly constructed facility over a span of five weeks from July 11th through August 16th, 2008. A few days later on August 24th, 2008, this stunning temple was formally dedicated by renowned Church leader Thomas S. Monson.
