This sacred edifice houses two ordinance rooms and two sealing areas, with a total floor area of 10,700 square feet. A significant milestone took place on May 7, 1998, when an announcement was made regarding the construction project. A groundbreaking ceremony followed, dedicated on March 20, 1999, by L. Lionel Kendrick. On June 1-3, 2000, a public open house was held to allow people access to the building. The temple officially became operational after being consecrated on June 11, 2000, with Gordon B. Hinckley conducting the dedication ceremony.
