LDC For Daisy 880 and Winchester 1977

This is a screw on moderator/LDC for a Daisy 880 or Winchester 1977. It works really well. I printed it out of ASA. I printed all parts without supports. I used skirt bed for the short parts and a brim on the taller parts. I super glued the baffles together to help keep them aligned. I cut the felt 14.5 cm wide for the longer version and 80mm wide for the short version. I used M2.6X5mm screw to screw the shroud and endcaps together. Once it is fully assembled use a block of wood to remove the current front sight. Slide it over the top of the barrel quickly to hit the front sight and pop it off. It doesn't take a whole lot of force and I have never broke one doing that. Next install the new front sight barrel insert by sliding it in the barrel shroud and over the barrel. There are two options, for the new threaded barrel insert. The V4 version will work with 880s and 1977s. The one with out the V4 suffix may flare the end of the barrel on 1977s. Next screw on the index nut, and finally the LDC. Update: 12/11/2022 Added single piece baffles and large bore options. Update: 11/03/2022 Updated the baffle cup design for better fitment. Update: 10/27/2022 Added new barrel support/LDC mount that provides much improved rigidity to the LDC and removes the need for an alignment nut. Tap the holes M4-0.7 and use M4-0.7 x 6mm set screws.
