LCR-T4 Transistor Tester Tilting Case

LCR-T4 Transistor Tester Tilting Case

thingiverse

This is a simple 3D printable model of the acrylic case I originally bought with my LCR-T4 transistor tester. The kit includes replacement parts for each of the clear acrylic pieces that came with the original acrylic case. As with my GM328 printable case, this kit can be used in full or just to replace individual acrylic parts of the original case. You'll still need to use the screws, nuts, and nylon stand-offs that were included with the case. This model has a detachable battery compartment cover, which allows you to easily swap out the 9-volt battery without taking apart the whole case. It also features a fold-able tilting stand for a better viewing angle. The two small holes under the power/test button are where you can add 4mm banana jacks that connect to 2 pins on the back side of the ZIF socket, making it easy to use clip type test leads. Since this device only performs one test and then powers down, it doesn't matter which 2 pins the connections are soldered to as long as they're electrically different - just use pins 1 & 2, 1 & 3, or 2 & 3. Hopefully someone will find this useful, either in full or in part.
