I found this design posted on Thingiverse - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2066610 - but I'm convinced it's actually a revised version of this older design from two years ago - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:896665. Regardless, I identified several problems. Firstly, the lip around the bottom was too weak and detached easily with minimal force. To address this, I reinforced it and increased the angle of the overhang to provide extra support. Secondly, the battery clip shared the same flimsiness issue, which I also reinforced for added stability. Thirdly, I enlarged the top right-hand screw hole and secured it to the case like the other two to enhance overall support. Lastly, with the battery endstop in its current position, the battery wouldn't fit snugly into the holder due to a hard plastic connector, unlike most 9v battery equipment. To resolve this, I moved the battery endstop 4mm, allowing for a secure fit without damaging the tab.
