LCD Screen Mount for GEEETech i3 Pro B
thingiverse
I've recently switched from a direct extruder to a bowden extruder mounted in the middle at the top of my frame. This change creates a problem with mounting the LCD screen at the top of the frame, so I designed a simple clip that slides into the original LCD acrylic frame and over the end plate of the Y-axis. As you can see, my printer is mounted on vibration mounts, but without them, the LCD still doesn't have trouble clearing from the surface the printer stands on. V2 added a little extra length to the clamp itself and the bracket to ensure a more secure grip on the frame so it won't bump off easily. If you don't have a printer, contact me on my Etsy store, and I'll be happy to print one for you: https://www.etsy.com/shop/XDr4g0nX3DPrinting. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: GEEETech i3 Pro B Metal Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 15% Notes: You can use as low infill as you please, since the parts have no real weight load on them.
