This is a Intelligent LCD (40 x 2) used with LCDSmartie to display status information about your computer. The LCD uses a I2C backpack (the 2 x 10 pin kind) that talks to a Xiao SAMD21 microcontroller with a USB C port, which in turns connects to your computer to get status info from LCDSmartie. The part at the top is designed to clip into the monitor stand of a DELL 24" monitor. My monitors are mounted on desk mounts, so the monitor mount is open for business. It should fit the monitor mount of any modern DELL monitor.
