I tweaked tham40's LCD knob modification to accommodate a longer potentiometer shaft. His innovative design shines, but the original setup was a bit too elevated from the LCD display. To rectify this issue, I drilled an additional 6mm into the hole, effectively bringing it in line with the screen.
