I utilize an 18-year-old RV microwave to thoroughly dry my desiccant, capitalizing on its exhaust vent feature. The top of these microwaves boasts a shroud that directs the airflow forward, which would normally be inside the RV. I deliberately use it outside, as blowing humidity into the house is not ideal. I decided to make the most of this feature by using the vent to monitor both temperature and humidity levels. This led me to design a clip-on mount for the purpose. I crafted it in such a way that I could also attach it at an angle, as seen in one of the accompanying images. To ensure the mount's durability in the face of hot, humid air being vented, I printed it with PETG material. Although I highly doubt anyone else is utilizing a similar microwave setup, perhaps someone will find this design useful in the future. Notably, the gap that slips onto the shroud measures just 0.8mm wide.
