Here is a hood/sun shade for the fold-out LCD screen of your Canon SX50HS or similar camera. The hood is secured to the screen with a rubber band. The hood consists of two parts: a frame and a shade. These pieces are bonded together using adhesive (you can see the glue in the images). My Canon SC50HS has an LCD screen that measures approximately 76mm x 55mm. If your camera's dimensions are similar, it should fit perfectly, or you could adjust the size of the parts to suit your exact camera model. The LCD portion of the fold-out screen is slightly off-center, and the viewport in the frame reflects this misalignment. Once the adhesive has fully cured, I will paint the entire assembly a flat black color.
