LCD cover MK3
thingiverse
This is a remix of the original MK3 Prusa LCD cover. The goal was to make the cover more robust and minimize the noise it produced when vibrating in sync with the frame. While working on this, I decided to introduce some visual updates as well. Changes include: - The board is secured with 4 screws - Tighter tolerances were applied - Slight visual changes were made to the overall design - Geometry was optimized for printing efficiency - Design takes into account filament and color changes (M600), though not optimized for MMU I designed the cover for my MK2 LCD, and also tested it with stock MK3 LCDs and one from LDO. Although they all fit correctly, assemble properly and have sufficient clearances, the boards seem to vary slightly, resulting in some cutouts being slightly misaligned, particularly those for the screen and rotary encoder. While this design is similar to the original, I cannot guarantee compatibility with any stock parts except the dial knob. STEP files are included for your modding convenience. STL files were sliced and checked with Prusa Slicer. Constructive feedback is welcomed.
