I designed this enclosure to cradle the Full Graphic LCD Controller for my Robo 3D R1+. As a creative outlet, I wanted something beyond the simple hinged box I built earlier - its hinge didn't function well. This print is not yet complete; critical adjustments need to be made before it's fully functional. To fix this, I must address three key issues: Firstly, the LCD compartment needs to be deeper since the 8-pin connectors protrude too much to allow a full closure. Secondly, the original 8-pin connector cable for my LCD controller is not long enough to reach from the bottom of my printer to the controller. Lastly, gluing it together proved more challenging than anticipated; the round extrusions on the legs fit into holes on the body, but aligning them perfectly is tricky. I plan to change the shape to a square or triangle for easier keying in. I'll update the license once I have a model I can confidently release. This will be updated later as I finalize the fixes!
