This mounting plate suits a Prusa Mendel LCD Controller, initially designed for a "RepRapDiscount Smart Controller" within its corresponding case (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:35438). The adjustable design allows easy adaptation to various items mounted on the Prusa Mendel using its top bars. Required components: mounting plate (this model), 2 (or 4) "2-way Prusa bar clamps" (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5786), a 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) 8 mm threaded rod, 4 x 8 mm washers, and 4 x 8 mm nuts. Optional display mounting screws or glue are available. Assemble as shown in the related pictures. Alternatively, 5/16" rods can be used. Note that "2-way Prusa bar clamps" may be fragile; print "beefy" versions with spare ones. Do not overtighten nuts, and larger washers are preferred.
