I decided to attach the LCD controller to a vertical surface, specifically the lid of my MPCNC control box, making it easy to remove whenever I need to. Since I plan on shutting the lid when not using the CNC, the clips will securely suspend the controller, keeping it safe and out of the way. I designed two custom mounts, applying a bead of hot glue behind each one for added stability. With a simple snap, the controller fits snugly into place, providing a secure hold that's easy to detach when needed.
