Here's a simple clip for the corner of an acrylic frame piece that holds an LCD in place, preventing it from moving away when pressing a button. The two slots are spaced 2mm and 6mm apart, with a 10mm gap and a small offset to accommodate the LCD board as well as some clearance for the buzzer. This clip can be easily modified within the OpenSCAD file by adjusting variables such as board_gap and frame_width to suit different thickness frames and gaps. The provided example shows a slightly poor print quality, but this is merely an initial prototype. An update has been added featuring a small loop designed to retain a bowden tube/filament, preventing it from flopping around while printing. I have also revised the original design to align with this new version. Another iteration includes small nubs for holding an SD card when not in use. While this design has yet to be printed and tested, I will update once one is available, taking into account any required supports for the nubs or possible filing needed to ensure a snug fit. If you've already printed the original clip version, consider rotating and flipping it over to attach to the other side of the LCD as well. As a follow-up effort, I aim to experiment with different versions, looking into useful applications such as pen or tweezer holders. Furthermore, making this design modular through a slotted attachment point will allow users to choose between various options without having to reprint the entire main piece again. The following parameters were used when printing one iteration on my Sunhokey Prusa i3 (2015):
