# Purpose This enclosure is designed for use with a 20x4 character LCD display, providing protection from damage caused by static electricity. ## Problems The dimensions of this enclosure are very close to those of the 20x4 LCD PCB, making it essential to print with a 1% oversize. Alternatively, you can carefully trim down the PCB slightly to ensure a proper fit. The discrepancy between the PCB and printed dimensions is due to slight inaccuracies in both manufacturing processes. ## Assembly Three sturdy stands press the display into place within the enclosure, securing it firmly. Four brackets are used to fix the backcover of the LCD securely within its housing.
