LCD Cable Holder (Prusa MK3S)
thingiverse
A simple clip to hold your LCD cable for the Prusa MK3S, this avoids jamming the cables into the aluminum extrusion. I found it under HomeCube, here is just this part so you don't have to download the whole enclosure. I've never liked jamming the LCD cables in the extrusion (Prusa MK3S build chapter 8, step 18). This clip avoids this and makes the cable routing more direct. PETG is recommended, but PLA+ worked for me. After printing two clips insert a screw into each one. I used two M3x14 screws in the spare parts kit. Insert the ends of the parts into the channel and twist them 90 degrees to reach the final position in the photos. Tighten the screws until the parts don't move (no need to tighten them beyond that, you don't want to damage the extrusions). Insert cables. These parts make the cable routing slightly shorter. I just tucked the excess in a small loop just below the LCD; you may find a better solution.
