This is an LCD housing designed specifically for Folger Tech 2020 printers or other V-slot rail frame systems. Created to accommodate the 2004 LCD display with SD Card reader, it features a flexible front panel that activates the stop switch when twisted under the knob. Securely mounted using two twist lock T-nuts to hold it firmly in place on the frame, while two self-tapping screws fasten the housings together, effectively trapping the LCD PC board inside. For easy access, an opening is provided on one side for finger insertion of SD cards, and ample spacing beneath the panel allows free movement of extruder wires without any hindrance. I initially designed this housing with a curved front face that was wider at the bottom than the top. However, to print both sides with the front and back surfaces facing downwards, I encountered significant stepping due to the slight curvature. This required extensive support during printing, which in turn necessitated sanding to achieve a smooth finish. To simplify things for others, I eventually removed the front face curvature from the original design, reducing the finishing requirements altogether.
