This is a highly refined battery hold down/mounting solution for all Tacon/EMB/LC Racing vehicles. This system protects nearly any size battery from sliding into the driveshaft and offers a very secure mounting system, strapped or strapless. The holders that attach in the factory mounting locations are just the right size to allow the factory strap to slide over, with recess cuts that prevent the strap from getting crushed. The same holders also accommodate M3x20/M3x22mm cap/button head screws that can be used with an M3 nut or thumb screw to secure the battery plate. NOTE: The strap only design allows the use of a slightly longer battery as the rear holder is 3mm thinner (equal to the thickness of the front strap holder). Holes for the top plate are removed. Download the Strapped version only if you need every mm of battery length. Otherwise, the other design works strapped or strapless. This design permits no restrictions on battery width (although watch out for that side guard screw, which can "poke" the battery if not shaved down or removed). This design allows the use of up to 108mm long batteries.
