The sample will be deposited in layers consisting of three fine regolith levels and two layers of 10-20mm sized samples. Collection occurs from the lunar surface's upper 100mm. Material is aluminum alloy 6061, with a dimension of 300mm diameter and 500mm length, weighing 675.2g. The container size measures 51mm width, 57.6mm tall, and has a .3mm wall thickness. Power is supplied by one DC motor and one servo motor. Working principles include acquiring samples through the rotational motion of a bucket wheel, which are then transferred to a trommel screen via a screw conveyor for separation into fine regolith, 10mm rocks, and 20mm rocks. Rocks larger than 20mm or 10mm are discarded outside the sampling system. Linear ball screw systems deposit materials into fine regolith and 20mm layers as required.
