Lazy Susan
thingiverse
I required a solution to facilitate device wiring at my workplace. The concept of utilizing a lazy susan as an aid arose from this necessity. This assembly consists of three interconnected components. To assemble it, the following hardware is necessary: thirty-four 3/8" ball bearings, four M3 thermal inserts, and four M3 x 10 screws. All original designs were created using FreeCAD software, while the STL files were generated with a maximum edge length of eighty thou. The spool holder segment can be redesigned to accommodate various holders or tools. The four M3 components are positioned one inch from the center of the lazy susan, and it's advisable to follow this specific M3 layout for ease of use. Regarding the ball bearing arrangement, there is some inherent play involved. If anyone has suggestions on how to minimize this play, please send a message with your recommendations.
