Lazy Susan Gears
thingiverse
These are the STL files for my custom Lazy Susan gear found here:https://www.thingiverse.com/make:587559Please note: I've updated two existing files, adding "rough" to their names, and uploaded new smooth versions for improved look and printing. You'll notice the difference.[I'm thrilled to have completed it. Now I'm eagerly waiting for my high-torque DC motor to arrive from Banggood. The large wooden circles at top and bottom are 18-inch pine wood circles.A 12-inch square plywood piece sits atop the lower circle.I used a front wheel hub assembly from a Chevrolet Cavalier 2000 model. The gear is a 32-toothed 3D printed piece, extracted from a JPG file using Simplify 3D.Two 6.75-inch circles are sandwiching the gear in between, mounted on top of the hub.To better understand the assembly, I've included a series of pictures.19/Jan/2019: I added Lazy-Susan-SmallGear.stl for a gear with a stalk to install on the motor shaftWatch it in action here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NLjWsWq1YE
