Lazy Susan Filament Spool Roller

Lazy Susan Filament Spool Roller

I crafted this spool roller to operate in complete silence, boast minimal rolling friction, and feature extremely low bearing rotations for a significantly longer lifespan of its bearings. This design should accommodate nearly any size or weight filament spool with ease. To build it, you'll need: 6 x 6088ZZ bearings 1 x 6.5" OD (165mm, 2.5mm) O-ring (optional but highly recommended) Assembling the roller is straightforward: start by placing the base, then add the cruciform piece, followed by a spacer, and finally top it off with the fifth spoke. The rubber O-ring offers several benefits; it provides a uniform yet non-slip contact with any surface or 3D printer. Rubber feet would have introduced an uneven bearing track, which is why I opted for this design instead.
