Struggling to align kapton tape accurately for Replicator HPB can be extremely stressful and time-consuming. Manually doing it typically requires numerous attempts and 20 minutes to achieve a flat, creaseless, and gap-free result. However, most available jigs either couldn't be printed or were not helpful. Thankfully, this simple yet effective jig solves the problem. It is easy to print and use. To utilize it, first, print the jig, which might need rotation for optimal build plate fitting. Next, unfurl the tape, keeping it aligned with the lip on the long side. Wrap some slack around the short end for grip. Then, place the edges of the jig against the build plate and press firmly. Spritzing the bed with Windex can aid in pushing out any bubbles. Repeat the process for the other side, aligning with the lip on the jig, to ensure a perfect overlap-free fit.
