Lazy Glasses
thingiverse
Lazy viewer glasses help you conserve your neck while watching TV, reading a book or simply playing with your tablet. They adjust the light so that you don't have to look at what you want to see directly. The supporting pieces are designed to fit very tightly into the glasses. To get them in place might take a bit of force, but be careful not to break them. How I Created This Project Size and Motivation I looked for inspiring ideas on Thingiverse to see if anything needed improvement or was missing entirely. Unfortunately, no lazy viewer glasses were available. Therefore, I decided to make one myself. Usual lazy viewer glasses employ a prism to adjust the light, but since quality prisms often cost more than affordable viewer glasses, I opted to use mirrors instead. The drawback with mirrors is that whatever reflects off of them becomes mirrored and inverted. To make this work efficiently, it needs two mirrors for each eye that will reflect the image twice before it can be properly seen. Everything except the 4 small mirrors required to glue into the interior of the glasses can be printed.
