We proudly introduce our newest 3D printer model, designed and built by LayerToLayer. The Layer model is a versatile and user-friendly 3D printing machine that boasts a robust structure and can be scaled up or down to meet your needs. Its frame is constructed from durable 20x20mm aluminum profiles that form a Prusa-style geometry, but with the added benefit of reinforced profiles for improved speed, print quality, and portability. The Layer model features E3D extruders in various models, including the v6, chimera, and volcano designs. The build volume is an impressive 200 x 200 x 200 mm. One of its standout features is its completely independent electronic system, which enhances its lifespan, maintenance needs, and potential for upgrades. It runs on the tried-and-true Arduino 2560+Ramps1.4 system, with the option to integrate a Raspberry Pi into the same enclosure. The firmware is based on Marlin RC8, ensuring smooth operation and reliability. With its exceptional quality, speed, and ease of maintenance and improvement, this machine stands out as one of the most comprehensive 3D printers on the market today.
