Layer Shift mini fan duct for Anet A8
thingiverse
I've finally found the time to give this a shot, only now it's actually happening. With all I've learned from experimenting with the velocity and volume versions of the "Layer Shift" fan ducts, I'm starting to think those wide arms on the original might not be necessary after all. This is my first draft for a version that sticks to the same principle (opposing but offset air streams) but in a much more compact form factor. My initial tests with this printer show no noticeable performance drop compared to any of the layer shift versions. The fan mounts directly on the stock blower in its usual spot on an ANet A8. You'll need to turn your heatblock 90 degrees so that the heating element and thermistor face rearward from the printer.
