This is an attachment bracket designed specifically to fit onto the extruder stepper motor, which is typically mounted on top of the carriage above the hotend. To secure it firmly, drill out the pre-drilled holes and use either #6 machine screws or #8 wood screws to attach a standard 40x40mm fan to the bracket itself. The mounting holes for the fan are strategically arranged in a precise 32x32mm square pattern.
