Lawnmower Wheel Strut Fix
prusaprinters
This is a strut I put together on tinkercad (public, link at the bottom) to fix my broken lawnmower's wheel. The original plastic wheel broke at the axle, so I put together something to be able to quickly use the device. A new wheel would cost around €15, and a couple of weeks of wait time. The machine is a Stihl RME235 / Viking ME235 electric corded lawnmower, and I didn't want to print out a whole wheel, since the original one had a nice rubber around the edge, as well as for visual balance reasons. The wheel had a metal 8mm axle and the replacement strut should be able to fit any similar wheel with a diameter of over 130mm. The original wheel was fixed to the printed strut using cable ties. The assembly has been in use for over six months with no issues whatsoever. Also, use a temperature close to the maximum limit of the filament, for best lamination. Category: Replacement Parts
