Lawnmower or trimmer pull handle (ergonomic)
thingiverse
This is a second remix of the nice ergonomic 'pull handle' originally made by Andrewar http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:59206. I wanted to make a version that could be printed whole and not require any additional support during printing. All of the horizontal overhangs are 45 degrees, which most 3D printers can handle just fine. The obvious downside is that the edges aren't as rounded and nice as the original, but that wasn't a concern for me. Consideration should be made to the print settings to ensure the final part will be sufficiently strong. This version was made using 123 Design and I've included that file as well as the STL. Update 04/18/17: I decided to add a 2nd version with a slightly longer neck and smaller "hex tip" to allow a little more room for my knuckles when gripping it. The overall width and length did not change. One small bonus is that it should use slightly less filament. Print Settings: Rafts - No, Supports - No, Resolution - .4, Infill - 25, Notes - Recommend printing thicker walls and 25 to 30 percent infill.
