Lawn Spot Sprinkler

Lawn Spot Sprinkler

thingiverse

This small lawn sprinkler covers areas up to 6 meters in diameter, depending on your water pressure. It's based on a classic metal design from the 1800s, known for its even coverage and low-pressure performance. With no moving parts, this sprinkler is reliable and long-lasting. The water enters the sprinkler from the side, causing it to spin out of the top. The housing part, shaped like a snail shell, should be printed with the smaller hole facing downwards. Meanwhile, the insert piece, or cap, should be printed with the coin slot facing downwards as well. Once printed, apply vaseline generously to the threads and insert the cap into the housing using a larger coin until a secure seal is formed. To prevent leaks, add a standard hose washer to the connection. This sprinkler works seamlessly with North American standard hose threads. While it's not necessary to print this design in orange PLA, as I did, it does make it easier to spot in the grass.
