Lawn Mower Remixed RIM With rubber Tires
thingiverse
I just printed the rim and you can connect to the motor with this small radial connector I bought at eBay, using M3 x 25 bolts. For the other holes, I used M4 bolts, simply for a good look. You can print the tires, but I haven't tested them yet because I want to mold the tires. So, the profile of the negative form is symmetrical; you just need one form to mold both tires. For molding, I use GM 951-1, which works pretty nicely and it's just the only one I found in black. The shore is about 50, I think that's enough like model cars. So, use a release agent for the negative form two or three times after that; then connect the negative form to the rim and fill the GM 951-1. Wait until 12 hours are up, and you can open it. So maybe after opening, you'll need to wait 24 hours if it's completely dry. So, if you want to do this, you will need: GM 951-1 (600g) or you will print the tires with TPU or something else 8 x M3 x 25 bolts 16 x M4 nuts 10 x M4 nuts
