Lawn Mower Knob
thingiverse
A replacement knob for the handle on my John Deere lawn mower. I copied the existing knob in Solidworks and exported the model as an STL file. The design uses a 5/16" machine nut and 5/16" x 2" long carriage bolt that cost me less than a dollar at the hardware store. The knob was sliced in Prusa Slicer at a 45 degree angle. The angle moves the layer lines so they aren't parallel with the shear forces. The support settings were from the build plate only. I printed it the knobs in PLA.
