Lawn Mower Knob 5/16"
thingiverse
I misplaced two vital bolts that hold my foldable lawnmower handle together. After an exhaustive search for solutions, I decided to try Tinkercad.com and design my own custom bolt. No unnecessary embellishments here, just straightforward functionality. I reinforced the top, bottom, and side layers to provide extra rigidity. I purchased the nuts and bolts from Home Depot at a reasonable cost of only a few dollars. While this piece could be refined further, it's an outdoor item that won't see much use, so I'm satisfied with its current state. Bolt: 5/16 in. -18 x 2 in. The file with "final" in its title is the updated mower knob. I've also discovered improved bolts at Ace Hardware that feature a curved head and stay securely in place. The nut fits perfectly, so I simply carve a small notch on the edge of the hole and it clicks right into position.
