Lawn Chair With Solid Cylinders
thingiverse
I recreated this chair from a rare collectible dollhouse furniture piece. The uniform cylindrical cushions all have identical dimensions. I merely cloned the cylinder and overlapped each one, fine-tuning the angle. To craft the curved armrests, I utilized a single cylinder paired with a semisphere. Next, I employed two box tools to carve away nearly half from each side of the cylinder/sphere assembly. As a result, I was left with what appeared to be an upside-down "U". So, I cloned this smaller "U" and slightly decreased its width. Then, I converted this narrower "U" into a hole tool and grouped it together, which left a hollowed-out shape. I fine-tuned the armrest by using a box tool to trim the legs to the desired height. Tinkercad was my go-to modeling and printing software for this project.
