This large block of quartzite in the initial stage of dismantling is situated near a small stream at the historic archaeological site Cava do Pocinho. Workers and site officials made five holes aligned with the use of tools such as chisels and heavy hammers. The intention was to produce synchronized force capable of cutting the block into smaller units.
