The strong recommendation is to print the new wing, as all provided instructions below are based on the outdated (original) design. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4490163 ***Lavochkin La-11*** Wingspan: 760mm Takeoff weight: Approximately 720g Battery: 3S 800 - 1800mAh Motor: 2830-1100kv Propeller: 10x6 Flight time: Over 10 minutes (1800mAh), 8 minutes (1000mAh) COG: 70mm from the front of the wing part, exactly on the main longeron Content: /fuselage - Fuselage parts /wing - Wing parts /controls - Control surfaces /motor - Motor frame /source - Project for FreeCAD Recommended printer settings: Layer height: 0.25mm Nozzle: 0.4 - 0.5mm Filament: PETG / PLA Assembly recommendations: 1. Place the receiver in the battery tray. 2. Attach the wing to the fuselage; removal is not necessary for the entire lifespan. 3. The elevator lift should be between 8-12mm by the tail edge, no more than that. 4. If you experience difficulties with aft COG positioning, consider installing a spinner. 5. Drill a hole in the motor frame for the upper screw. 6. You may want to add tape on the cover lock for better locking. Flight recommendations: 1. Maintain airspeed; low speed equals spin stall, which is fatal. 2. Avoid sharp maneuvers using the elevator; fly smoothly. Other: You can upscale and print this model. Upscaled versions perform much better. The photo shows original 760mm and upscaled 920mm versions. The 920mm version uses a 3536-1200kv motor and a 9x6 APC-style prop. On the upscaled version, you can execute sharp maneuvers. Normal takeoff weight for the 920mm version is approximately 1050g. PS: This is my first design.
