I own this lavalier microphone, which performs exceptionally well overall. I damaged the plastic piece that secures the actual microphone to the alligator clip, so I used Tinkercad to design a replacement part for myself. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HX40Q3C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Fits extremely snugly. It's securely in place once you manage to get it there. To remove it, you might have to use some nippers to cut it out. There's also a lip that prevents the clip from rotating and coming loose, one of my pet peeves with the original design. You may prefer for the plastic piece to break first, before the wire does, if so then this part likely won't be what you're looking for. As I mentioned, it's locked in very securely.
