Lavalier Microphones (or "Lav's" for those in the know) excel at capturing clean, isolated audio from speakers. Clipped to collars, lapels, or clothing parts near the body, they consistently produce excellent results. While T-shirts are another story, here's a clever solution: Print on object, 1-4 items in neutral colors such as black, gray, and white, so they'll match any wardrobe. Clip the mic onto the printed piece with the mic facing upwards, slide it over the t-shirt neck keeping it centered to prevent wavering, then wrap the wire around the top. With this hack, you're guaranteed to be a star.
