Lauren and Dave are working with the 2014 version of OpenSCAD that has the text() preference enabled for development purposes. They can customize their work at http://www.jbcse.com/customizer/. A custom font used is found here: https://code.google.com/p/googlefontdirectory/source/browse/#hg/ofl/alexbrush. Users need to follow these instructions: Print the background color on the first layer, then use the foreground color for the remaining layers.
