Laureline - Ball Joint Doll (1/4 MSD BJD scale)

thingiverse

This is an ongoing project, Ball Joint Doll (BJD). Laureline will stand around 45cm tall when complete, which is equivalent to 1/4 scale, specifically MSD size. She's put together using 2mm round elastic. At this point, I've only finished the lower half of the doll - the hip to upper leg joint is a bit stiff, and I'll probably combine the hip and upper leg into one piece in the next version. The knees in this design are separate pieces that fit snugly with the upper and lower leg parts, allowing for a wide range of pose-ability while still supporting the weight of a larger doll. All of the leg parts are designed for the right leg only - mirror these to print the parts for the left leg. Printer Settings Printer Brand: Up!
