The estate of Laupa in the Türi parish of Estonia's Järva county has a long history dating back to the 17th century when it was first established. The Taube family built a wooden house on the site between 1853 and 1855, but unfortunately, this original structure caught fire during the uprising of 1905. The current manor house was designed by Tallinn-based architect Jacques Rosenbaum in 1910 and took three years to complete. With its unique blend of Art Nouveau and neo-Rococo styles, the building showcases eclectic neo-Baroque architecture that is considered one of Rosenbaum's most historically accurate designs. Rich decorative elements include pilasters, half-columns, terraces, ornate stucco garlands, and intricately carved rococo sea shells.
