Laundry Detergent Cup Drainer Larger

The most recently purchased jugs of all® detergent have a larger diameter screw-on cap. My guess is they are standardizing with the rest of the industry as the new cap is the same size as OxiClean™ and several other bottles of various products.This revision features a larger diameter screw-on part that fits these newer jugs. {I’ve included a quick test if you want to be sure.}It also has slightly thicker funnel walls and ribs. The second one I made over a year ago with ABS had some cracks arcoss the funnel and some of the ribs.As to whether PLA or ABS is better, the first one I made 5 years ago with PLA only had one problem – after several years of use, the screw-on part delaminated. In a previous revision, I gave that part thicker walls.This latest one is made with MatterHackers Tough PLA, so we still don’t have the final word on the best material. My apologies to Leftcetio – I didn’t see your remix until my upload.
