Launch Vehicle Infographic
thingiverse
An infographic showcases 3D printable launch vehicles for Low Earth Orbit (LEO), with three key details per vehicle: cost to customers in US dollars (for cargo only), mass that can be carried into LEO in kg, and the assembled rocket's height in meters. The data ranges from rough estimates to accurate figures, sourced from Wikipedia, Marspedia.org, russianspaceweb.com, spaceandtech.com, and spacelaunchreport.com. While some rockets could be categorized as low, medium or heavy lift, the infographic opts for a unified scale to highlight the range of available vehicles. The infographic includes details on eight rockets: Ariane 5, Atlas 5 HLV, Delta IV Heavy, Falcon 9, Proton Breeze M, Zenit-2 (Sea Launch), Soyuz, and Space Shuttle. Each rocket's data is available in a separate STL file, with version numbers for updates. The original PRO/E files are also available. Note that the initial version includes correct dimensions but lacks the rocket's name and shape accuracy.
