**LATIN SQUARE PUZZLE** **Latin Square (3x3):** A square of order *n* where cells contain *n* letters, numbers or symbols called elements. These elements are arranged so they appear once on each line and in each column. Check out the example picture 2. There are 12 Latin squares of order 3. **Diagonal Latin Square (4x4):** A Latin square of order *n* where the *n* symbols on the main diagonal appear only once. Picture 2 shows a 4-element Latin square but doesn't reveal the solution. There are six diagonal Latin squares of order 4, and none exist for order 3. **Pandiagonal Latin Square (5x5):** A diagonal Latin square with an added property: each broken diagonal contains unique elements. No pandiagonal Latin square exists below order 5. Picture 2 doesn't show the solution to this puzzle either. *Note 1:* Check out picture 2 for a basic Latin square example with 3 and 4 elements, but solve the diagonal and pandiagonal ones yourself! *Note 2:* Customize your puzzle symbols using different fonts and blank blocks. **Play with numbers:** Visit my NumBlocks on Thingiverse.
