Lathe/Turning Machine Gear 106 Teeth to 32 Teeth
thingiverse
This gear measures roughly 6.75 inches from bottom to top, with a bottom diameter of 2.125 inches. The large gear boasts an impressive 106 teeth, while its smaller counterpart has a modest 32. At its center lies a hole measuring precisely one inch in diameter - I strongly advise adding a metal casing here to ensure a snug fit and minimize wear on this gear. This precision-crafted gear was originally designed by my uncle, who sought to slow down his machine's cutting process to produce a finished product requiring minimal or no sanding at all. Please note that this gear is specifically engineered for use with the gears responsible for moving the cutting end, where forces are relatively low. It is not intended for applications involving high-force turning operations.
