Lathe
thingiverse
This is a lathe I built a while back, but never got around to sharing since I couldn't find the time to print it and put it together. If you're interested, I can post the bill of materials and build one myself for testing purposes. It's likely to work as intended, but may require some adjustments along the way. The design utilizes widely available components such as 608 bearings, M3 and M4 screws, except for the 2020 aluminum extrusions (which are relatively easy to find). The pulley is simply a placeholder; its size will depend on the motor you plan to use. I was also working on designing a four-jaw chuck to complement this lathe, but that project remains unfinished. This design draws heavily from Matthias Wandel's wooden lathe concept, but I built it from scratch with 3D printing in mind.
