I'm drawn to holding QCTP tools directly on the lathe, but I wanted to optimize space and accommodate 0xA tool holders. This design allows for tool holders on both sides of the lathe back plate, enabling 8-10 QCTP toolholders on a compact 7x10 mini lathe. Note: The dovetail is intentionally 3% smaller than the nominal 0xA measurement, allowing easy insertion and secure fit without tools getting stuck. For tighter tool retention, consider my "anything on a lathe" design.
