<p>Some while ago I made an MT3 version of this tool, and following that I received a request for an MT5 version. I took the opportunity to make some improvements to the original tool, and created the larger MT5 version here.</p><p>I should not that since I do not have any machines in my shop with an MT5 taper, I have not been able to test this print myself. However, the person I created it for has printed it and tells me that it works well.</p><p>Also not that in addition to the files for the tool, I have also included some test files which can be used to make faster test prints (and use less filament), in case minor adjustments are need for your printer. In particular, if the handle and end nut pieces do not fit your threads, you may want to scale those pieces as needed. However, do not scale the “half” pieces of the tool proper, as this will change the taper.</p><h4>Use Instructions</h4><p>To prepare the tool, place two plies of paper towel between the tool halves, and then lock the two halves together using the end nut and handle. Trim the paper towel with scissors to leave about 1/2" (10mm) of paper towel sticking out - this forms the “wiper” part of the tool.&nbsp;</p><p>To use the tool simply insert it into the taper and rotate it to wipe the internal surface. Refresh the paper towel as necessary.</p><h4>Print Instructions</h4><p>Print in PETG using the 3mf file provided.
