This spacer is to hold work a specific distance from the face of the chuck. I set up the code so that one can choose either a 3 or 4 jaw chuck by commenting out the one not used in the for loop. Yes, I could have made the number of arms a variable, but Im still just learning. By varying the thickness, one can hold a ring parallel to the face without the ring touching the jaw faces, so that full cuts can go into the spacer rather than the jaws. The spacer is more forgiving and much cheaper. The code also provides directions for using any size neo magnet available, I added in fluff to accomodate the 3D diameter errors, I superglue the magnets into the pockets. One is always press fit, the other two are always loose enough to require glue.
